Welcome to Thedivemasterhavelock. These terms and conditions govern the use of our scuba diving services. You agree to abide by these terms and conditions by booking with us. Please read them carefully before making any reservations. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
- Age Restrictions: Customers must be at least 18 years old to book independently. Divers under 18 must have parental consent and be accompanied by a guardian.
- Equipment Usage: All equipment provided by the Company must be used responsibly. Any damage caused by negligence may result in repair or replacement fees charged to the Customer.
- Booking Policies:
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- Group bookings (more than 5 people) must be made at least 7 days in advance.
- Insurance: Customers are required to have valid travel and health insurance that covers scuba diving activities. The Company is not responsible for any injuries or accidents during the service.
Payments and Refunds
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, debit card, and bank transfers. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
- Deposit Policy: A deposit of 50% is required for group bookings. The balance must be paid 48 hours before the activity date.
- Refund Policy:
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled dive will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 7 days but more than 48 hours before the dive will receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled dive.
Cancellations and No Shows
- Customer Cancellations: Cancellations must be made via email or phone. Failure to inform us in time may result in the forfeit of any deposits or payments.
- Diving Center Cancellations: In cases of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances that make diving unsafe, the Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule. Customers will be notified as soon as possible and offered alternative dates or a full refund.
- No-Shows: If a Customer fails to show up for their scheduled dive without prior notice, no refund will be given.
Medical and Health Conditions
- Medical Clearance: All customers must complete a medical questionnaire before diving. Certain health conditions may require a doctor’s note confirming fitness to dive.
- Self-Certification: By booking, Customers confirm that they are in good health and fit to participate in scuba diving activities.
- Waivers: Customers with pre-existing conditions that may affect their ability to dive must sign a liability waiver.
Safety and Risks
- Safety Policies: All dives are conducted under strict safety guidelines. Customers are required to follow all instructions provided by the dive instructor.
- Acknowledgement of Risks: Scuba diving carries inherent risks. By participating, Customers acknowledge these risks and release the Company from any liability for personal injury or property damage.
Behavioral Expectations
- Code of Conduct: Customers are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and fellow divers. Aggressive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
- Alcohol and Substances: Diving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any Customer suspected of being under the influence.
- Equipment Damage: Any equipment damage due to misuse will be charged to the Customer at repair or replacement cost.
Privacy and Data Protection
- Data Collection: The Company collects personal information (name, contact details, medical information) solely for the purpose of providing our services.
- Data Usage: Your data will not be shared with third parties unless required for safety or legal reasons.
- Consent: By booking with us, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined above.
Liability Waiver and Indemnity
- Waiver of Liability: The Company is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained during our services, except where caused by gross negligence.
- Indemnification: Customers agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims arising from their participation in diving activities.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
